Bhoja Air Boeing 737 plane crash in Islamabad Pakistan kills 127
;ISLAMABAD: A Pakistani passenger plane carrying at least 127 people crashed in stormy weather and burst into flames while approaching Islamabad airport Friday evening. There were no reports of survivors.
The commercial airliner, Bhoja Air 737, on its maiden flight, was descending for landing when it crashed a few miles from Islamabad airport, near Chaklala airbase, Rawalpindi.
There were conflicting reports on the number of passengers. While some said there were 118 passengers and nine crew members on board, other reports said more than 130 people were on the plane.
Geo News said the Boeing 737 had 129 passengers on board, including 57 women, 55 men, 11 children and six crew members. The plane took off from Karachi at 5pm and was supposed to land in Islamabad at 6.50pm, but crashed just before touchdown.

"We made a decision to get into this race at our kitchen table, against all the odds, and we made a decision over the weekend that while this presidential race is over for me, and we will suspend our campaign effective today, we are not done fighting," Santorum said during an address in Gettysburg, Pa.
During his 14-minute speech, Santorum notably did not endorse Mitt Romney.
The Pennsylvania Republican had taken a break from the campaign trail for several days to tend to his ailing daughter, Bella. He had pledged to continue campaigning through the upcoming Pennsylvania primary. But the combination of his daughter's sickness and recent poll numbers showing him possibly losing his home state apparently prompted the early departure.

Reports said he was in Florida and had inked a new one-year WWE deal, with some anticipating an appearance at Wrestlemania.
But it was at the end of Raw when he made his appearance — to the delight of the crowd in Miami.
Raw had started with a strong victory promo by The Rock, who had beaten Cena at Mania.
And throughout the show much was made of how Cena would respond to him.
When he appeared in the last segment, he spoke in his usual fashion, preaching his virtues of hustle, loyalty and respect, and acknowledged his defeat.
Cena requested The Rock meet him in the ring so he could congratulate him.But instead — after a long pause — it was Lesnar who appeared in from of a rapturous crowd.
Brock took in the crowd reaction and slowly walked to the ring.
Cena applauded and extended a hand but Lesnar snatched him up and delivered his old finisher, leaving Cena laying.
The image Raw viewers were left with was a stricken Cena, a dominant Lesnar, and an ecstatic crowd.
WWE's Jim Ross was among the many who took to the internet to praise Brock's return.
He tweeted: "Why is Brock Lesnar back? I'd suggest to earn BIG money.
"He's done with UFC and is still young. He's a complex, supreme athlete. Interesting times."
Coincidentally, Lesnar made his first-ever appearance on WWE TV the night after Wrestlemania 18, almost exactly 10 years ago.
