Knicks Vs. Mavericks: Dallas Overcomes New York Comeback, Dismal Shooting

;Jason Kidd whined about the officiating Monday night after a loss to the Thunder and then decided to take matters into his own hands a night later. He smacked Jeremy Lin to the American Airlines Center court with a shot to the head, making you wonder if Gregg Williams had put a bounty on the Knicks’ playmaker.

Lin has been getting all the calls since he started his incredible run, but somehow the refs didn’t assess the Mavs a flagrant foul on the play.

This was all during another loss for the Knicks, the fifth in their last eight games, and the way the game went and the way Lin took a beating from Kidd on that one play, you know that Linsanity is over. Officially. Not even the best thing to happen to the Knicks at point guard since Mark Jackson can stop the losing now.Mavericks vs Knicks: How will Jeremy Lin accept his new role, backup?

Will Jeremy Lin resurrect himself back to the spotlight? The conversation in the past three days after Knicks losing to Celtics is the future of Lin as the starter of the team. Backing him up in the pointguard position is a well-proven player Baron Davis. Anytime soon the Knicks expected Lin to be relegated into a backup role.Jeremy Lin has become a household name during the past month, but nothing has

been handed to the current New York Knicks point guard and former Harvard Crimson star during his brief career professional basketball career. In fact, if it wasn't for the opportunity Dallas Mavericks general manager gave Lin at the 2010 Vegas Summer League, the Taiwanese-American isn't sure what might have happened to his NBA career.
